The WindowsPCHealthCheckSetup says I pass 3 of the 4 requirements, but that my processor isn't supported.

Yet my Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz 2.90 GHz appears on the list Windows 10 20H2 Supported Intel Processors.

    What am I not understanding?

You seem to be referring to Windows 11 here.

You are referring to Windows 10 here.

You are mixing up your references.
See the Windows 11 section of Windows Processor Requirements - MSDocs if that is indeed what you are investigating.

    All the best,

    Welcome to TenForums.

It's really worth making time to browse through the Tutorial index - there's a shortcut to it at the top of every page.
    - At the foot of the Tutorial index is a shortcut to download it as a spreadsheet.
    - I download a new copy each month so I can benefit from Excel's filtering capabilities when I search for topics of interest.
    - Tutorials are also listed by category at Tutorials - there's also a shortcut to that at the top of every page.
    - Both tutorial pages are searchable.
    - You can also search for TenForumsTutorials in many general search engines, such as Google, by adding site:tenforums.com/tutorials after your search term. For example,
    taskbar toolbars site:tenforums.com/tutorials

    - And note that you can also search TenForums threads [rather than just searching tutorials] in many general search engines, such as Google, by adding site:tenforums.com after your search term. For example,
Search for drivers by HardwareID site:tenforums.com
[This is what the search box in the top-right corner of TenForums webpages does automatically]

FYI, the Windows 11 Forums are live and well

@TenGetsYou5, though the checker correctly listed the 17-7500U as unsupported, you can still install the OS as it's still in beta form. However, as noted come October, things may change, and you may be required to revert back to Windows 10. For that reason, you may want to created a Windows 10 image "before" upgrading to 11.

That said, I'm currently running Windows 11 on both a laptop (i7-7600U) and desktop (i7-7700K) running i7 processors.

    Good luck

According to Microsoft themselves no PC over 4 years old can run Windows 11 because it requires 8th gen Intel or newer

More exactly, in this developing saga:
Microsoft will support some, but not most, 7th-gen Intel Core CPUs in Windows 11 | Ars Technica

and interestingly, perhaps manual installation will work:
You’ll be able to run Windows 11 on older PCs—if you install the update manually | Ars Technica

We wait with interest, as MS gets loads of flack from green protesters in pictures surrounded by piles of PCs that won't run Win 11....

Well if you consider 8th gen CPU's came out in 2017 AND Windows 11 (for now) requires 8th gen CPU's, that basically about right

That said many are hoping Microsoft drops to 7th gen CPU's and many including me (laptop, backup desktop), are also/still using 7th gen CPU's. But for me, I'm also running a 9 gen CPU in an i9-9900K on my main system so that one if fully supported; though I'm only testing for now on both i7 systems. Will move to main system once the OS releases in October.

My processor is on the list Denis mentions

So there's still something I'm not understanding. Besides how to reply directly to Denis.

Yes, the i7-7500U is on the list of supported processors for Windows 10 20H2

What you are missing is that the Windows PC Health check is checking against the list of supported processors for Windows 11 - and yours is not on that list.
