Reliable refurbished PC vendors, if any?

I am curious if anyone has a recommendation for reliable/trustworthy refurbished PC sellers other than the manufacturers and box stores/Newegg.

I checked eBay but most are seller refurbished laptops, but other than that I don't know any refurb PC sellers.

Plus, if you have any personal experience.

    Thanks

Newegg is the best resource when it comes to reputable third party resellers.

Look up a MAR (Microsoft Approved Refurbisher) near you in the MAR Directory.

MARs are not only experienced TPRs (Third-Party Refurbishers) but are accredited by Microsoft.

More info about the world-wide MAR scheme.

Personal experience - I buy refurbs (2 x SFF desktops, 1 x Xenon Tower and 5 laptops so far) from MARs here in the UK and have never had a dud one yet. All have been in 'almost new' condition with no dents, scratches or blemishes and clean of stickers. They've all activated immediately and worked reliably.

    Hope this helps...

My current laptop was bought refurbished from Micro-Center. At the time, they had twelve identical machines available, so my guess was that they came from a returned corporate/business bulk purchase/return without ever being used. I've been quite happy with it.

    Hi,
If you have a local micro center around they also offer instore warranties for items they sell.
Otherwise amazon sold and shipped and see if there are warranty options from there from assure which ebay also offer these options on purchases too.

    Try building your own.
The hardest part is taking the first step.If others can do it,so can you.
The problem these days is the exorbitant price for parts.

Like-New, Certified Dell PowerEdge, PowerVault, EqualLogic: Used Server Sales // STI Kansas City is a good one, has a lot of good deals and if you call/email then they will work with you and customize the workstation you need. We've spent a lot of with them

I'm still using 2 small Notebooks from TigerDirectB2B, refurbished and with a 1-year warranty. At the time I got them [Summer 2019] for use during my chemo treatments they were quite reasonably priced, 12" 256GB for $159 and 13" 128GB for $149 but prices started going up with advent of CO-VID. Both came with 8GB RAM and Win10 Pro.

Thank you everyone. Really appreciate all quick comments.

I checked MAR list and half of them seemed to work with businesses only. A handful that had refurbs, the cost was not really competitive for the configuration.

After reading 2 MicroCenter comments, I checked their website. They had good devices for the price. Went in to get a few checked and got HP PC with 11th generation i3 processor. I didn't like the overall experience though. They wouldn't let me check the machine before paying. The warranty cost was $90 for a year, which I thought to be steep. They do have 15 days return policy and 90 days manufacturer warranty. I just hope that I don't need to use the warranty.
My previous Toshiba Satellite A505-S9005 from Bestbuy gave an excellent service for last decade. I hope this at least gives me 5 years.

    Thanks again, folks.
