How do I change default search engine used by Search box to Google

Although I have Google set as the default browser, whenever I type a search in the Search box at the bottom left, the search result is displayed as a Bing result. This seems to have become more of an issue after today's Windows update (15 August 2021).
Now running Windows 10 OS Build 19042.1165
I have set Google as the default bowser and it shows it as the default Search engine but it still seems to use BIng.

    Hi Sigurd,

Is this what you're looking for?

    You're most welcome.

Excellent and good news, it always feels great to fix that issue.

    Glad I could assist.

If you type in the search box edge uses bing. If you type in the address bar edge uses the search engine you have chosen as default.

Or, you can add Chrometana Pro to your Chrome or Firefox browser and forget about Edge and Bing, regardless of where you choose to search.

The Chrometana Pro add-on is available for either browser.
