Easy and answered many times on tenforums.
Two tutorials, including a 3rd party utility. You could even use Sledgehammer (been around for years).
Google will help you. (My post above received no reply, so I'm keeping this short).

Hi 'Dalchina.' Thanks for your help. I'm new to this forum, and don't know how to respond to someone's post, if I see it after getting yet another message from a different person. If I then answer, it seems as though I'm answering the last person and not the one who responded before them. How do you do that?
Okay, I will definitely do a lot of 'Googling,' and see if I can learn some new things; that won't be hard, since I don't know much, now.
'Sledgehammer?' I guess that's yet another one to research, as I've ever heard of it before.
Thanks again!

Download Sledgehammer - MajorGeeks
IMHO do not use it
That will not I think solve your problem
The problem more than likely is either the mouse driver which you say you have tried to update or the usb port on the Lenovo either of which could be effected by the updates
Looking at the left side of your laptop to which usb port is the external mouse connected
4. USB 2.0 connector Connect USB-compatible devices, such as a USB keyboard, USB
mouse, USB storage device, or USB printer.
5. USB (3.2 Gen 1) Type-A connectors (2) Connect a USB-compatible device, such as a USB keyboard, a USB
mouse, a USB storage device, or a USB printer
USB 2 or
USB 3.
Try it in which ever it is not in at present.
What is the make and model of the mouse
Is it connected to that USB directly or via a hub - or is it a wireless mouse.
