Have you tried reinstalling or perhaps repairing it, if that option is available as it is for some progs? If you don't have a copy, you should be able to download one from the drivers page for your PC.

    Power2Go is a Cyberlink program.

In order to answer that - possibly with a much simpler solution than delving into PowerShell or the Registry - when do you encounter this error? Is it every time you reboot the system? Is it random? Slightly more information is needed.

No response to my post #2.

So I'll ask another question: have you uninstalled this program?

Then perhaps you might consider doing so to try to resolve this....

Thank you so much for your helpful reply.

Did you actually read my posts #2 or #5, or do you simply not understand them??

    You can:

    a. Download and reinstall the program
    b. Repair the installation if the Repair option is available e.g. in the Control Panel, Programs and Features
    c. Uninstall it if that option is available.

I recommend getting a copy of e.g. Revo or Geek Uninstaller (free) and starting the uninstallation from that.

the software appears to work ok so the message makes even less sense!
    Uninstall looks likely
    Thanks
