Darn if it is NOT one thing it is another.
I have a small external hard drive that I save Ebooks on. It is about one half full. This morning all of a sudden it is only showing folders A-J.
How do I get it to show everything folders A-Z?

Perhaps it is a faulty drive. I have seen similar symptoms that were followed by not having any access at all.
I'd suggest your immediate action could usefully be to backup whatever you can get at.
Then you might try to get assistance from the forum member jumanji because he knows a lot about failing drives.

In addition, you might also post a screenshot showing this to see if it may be a simple folder view setting or something.
Try3, I am almost positive it is NOT a bad hard drive. Several years ago I had this same issue. I just can NOT remember what was done to remedy the problem. I have all the files folders on an internal hard drive and they look just fine.

Try3 I should have read your post more carefully. I finally got around to running the "Check Drive for Errors and fixed the issue.
