    Quick Launch

I have used the Quick Launch Bar since its inception and never had a problem with it.

However, for the past couple or three days when I click on one of my app icons, I have to double click or it won't open.

Anyone having a problem with this? If so, were you able to fix it?

We're both on the same Win version, so it's probably not a version (update) question.

All of my taskbar toolbar shortcuts open with one click still.

No problem here either, 1-click does it. I'm on 1151 but had no problems with previous versions.

FWIW, I have no problems with the taskbar, either. I have 6 machines running Win10: 5 on current production build (19043.1151) and 1 on 21H2 Preview (19044.1151). Go figure!
Hope you find a fix. Be sure to report it to Feedback Hub.

I have no idea how complex your QLB setup is, but I think if mine stopped working properly, I could uncheck it in the right-click taskbar menu and then use New toolbar... to set it up afresh. It should work correctly then.

Nope! That was the first thing I tried.

I'm on another computer and it's working fine on it!

    Wynona,

This may be peculiar to my toolbar, but it's worth a look:

    At "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch"
I find a setup.ini file. If you have that, the context menu for it offers Edit, and in mine, I find this:
    Quick Launch-disabled-double-click.jpg

If you have that, maybe you have the double click enabled. No idea how such things get changed, but they do, sometimes.

Oh, and do you have a recent Restore Point, from a few days ago? I've searched my registry for anything that might affect your mouse-control in QL, but zilch. Still, there's always the chance that a Restore Point will reverse the glitch, and if not, you can always reverse the Restore operation, of course

    I don't have that.

And, I don't use Restore, but I'll see if I can figure it out; been a long time.

Settings, System, About (way down on the left), System Protection (on the right), System Restore, Show more, Next, Choose one from several days ago (before the glitch) if such there be. Be patient. Oh, turn off any non-Microsoft anti-V and/or firewall first. Luck.

Oh, I found the Restore and it only goes back to July 30, and that's after things went downhill, so no luck there.
