Computer going dum di dum dum

My computer has started going dum di dum dum every minute. If I restart it goes away but a couple days later it starts up again. It starts in the morning when I first start to use the computer. It is a desktop running Windows 10 Version 20H2(OS Build 19042.1110. Windows Defender has not detected anything.

Is this sound coming from the speakers or just generally from somewhere in the desktop case?

It sounds to me that it's the start of a bearing failure either in a cooling fan or a hard disk drive - If it's a sound coming from the speakers it could be some kind of alert to an error in some software, but this is less likely

    I'll check

Next time it happens in a couple days, I'll check but I'm pretty sure it is coming from the speakers.

The best way to check would be to switch off the sound or at least set it to minimum volume when you next hear it and then the sound should change volume

The problem hasn't reoccurred so I guess I will mark it as solved.
