Windows 10 safe mode works but normal mode boot loop automatic repair
I'm sure you are busy so I'll try to make it as short as possible. Thanks in advance for reading.
Windows system:
Virtualbox VM, migrated into KVM. This vm boots just fine in virtualbox.
Issue:
Preparing automatic repair boot loop during boot in kvm.
Attempted remedies:
1. Let it sit for an hour
Does nothing just sits there with cpu flatlined
2. Startup repair
Does nothing just sits there with cpu flatlined, I checked the srt trail log all of it's tests completed successfully.
3. Recovery options
Sfc /scannow + reboot - bootloop
Bcd /fixmbr and few variants + reboot - bootloop
Dism commands + reboot - bootloop
Check disk for errors, ran for the entire night, after reboot back to boot loop
4. Safe mode
Boots into safe mode with networking successfully. Now I have attempted the following.
Reboot - boot loop as before.
Clean boot (disable all services and startup except Microsoft) - bootloop
Uninstalled virtualbox guest additions. Reboot - Error
A required device is not connected, 0xc00000f. In this bsod, even though there are options mentioned below as repair and so, no key press works, it's just frozen. So I have reverted back to original snapshot.
Clean install is not an option as this is my development machine and has tons of customization which will take forever to set up.
This is very likely a driver issue but I just can't seem to find which one. I have been trying to figure out for 3 straight days (I have not done anything else other than troubleshooting) and I'm completely stuck. Any help would be much appreciated, I'm willing to pay for your time.
