We need to fix your Microsoft account (you password might've changed.) But, when I go to check it, nothing has been wrong.

Yeah. It helps. So, I should keep on doing that when I get this notification?

I use to get a notification like that too. I have not seen it since I updated to 20H2, then 21H1.

I have not seen it on either PC since.

@rockfan13, if your specs are correct, and you are a year behind, you should update to 21H1 and let us know if you still get the Notification.

When is the last time you`ve logged into Microsoft.com or logged into your Microsoft Account ?

    Microsoft - Official Home Page

I believe that if you login and verify your PC, the notification should stop showing up

Only when I turned my computer on earlier today. But I'll tell you when I get it again. I think that it's like a once a month or so thing for me.

When you get "you password might've changed", do you see a link to verify your account?
I've seen that twice about 1 1/2 years apart about 2, maybe 3 years ago and it took only a few seconds to verify my account.
I've helped a few friends do the same when they got that message.
For me and for them, it never was a password issue.
Why verifying the account was requested, we'll never know.

It would be interesting to know if you get it again as you have mentioned you will let us know.
