    c\Windows.old

    Just converted over to Win10.

    Everything going very well.

Looked at my disk capacity and it is showing that there is very little left.
I started to look around and found a file that is 23gig big.

    C\Windows.old

It was created on the same day I converted to win10.

Is this file required?? Can I delete it if I am not going back to Win7?
I need to fee up some disk space. That file seems like a large waste of disk space at the moment.

That folder holds files from your previous installation.
If you made your own backup image before upgrading you won't need it.

If you didn't make a backup image, you will need that file to rollback to the previous Windows installation that was on your PC.

    Thanks.

Are there any other files that can be moved or deleted from the Win10 upgrade?
