Accidentally Formatted An SD Card, Need Help

I did it. I was in a hurry and accidentally formatted a 200Gb Micro SD card in my external slot of my Android phone. It had every type of file you can imagine on it. Videos, Pics, PDFs, Word Documents, Rar, Zip & 7z files... and more. About 110Gb of data.



There are so many reviews that are sponsored, it's hard to find consensus on what the best software options are whether free/open source (preferred), and paid.



The second I did it I I turned off the phone and removed the card to try to prevent data being written to the card. I now plan to use Windows 10 Pro as my work bench for trying to fix this.



Suggestions?

I've tried quite a few so far including a different Easeus product and the most they find are folders that did contain files. None have found a single file. I don't get it. Right after Android formatted the card I turn the phone off and removed the card. Still no files can be found... by any program. At most I'm seeing Kbs of data.

This is the format screen that I used. I had an sd card plugged in via usb and thought the prompt was for that card but it formatted my external slot of the phone, not the usb card that caused to prompt when I inserted it.

This format method it used seems to have wipped it beyond repair/recovery. I had so many important files on that card.

I am sorry to say this might be a painful lesson about backing up, I hope you get your files back and report back to let us know how you get on.

It has recovered loads of stuff for me in the past. I wish you luck. I have found that the file names are changed sometimes.

You need specific Unformat format wipes the partition table if its restored the files are there. Trying to recover files is a no no. If Unformat doesn't work use partition recovery

I'm not sure what you mean here. What specific Unformat? Never even heard of that. There is no recoverable partition found. It was formatted.

During a file recovery scan using EaseUS it found almost 5200Gb of files from a 200Gb (183Gb) MicroSD Card. I couldn't try to retrieve that unless I buy a new HD. I saved a virtual hard drive image of the card before I started trying to save it's data and saved a 2nd copy of the image to another drive.

Nothing seems to be able to find files on the card, even if I flash the image back onto the card using balenaEtcher. A few programs are finding files on the image so that seems to be the location I'm focusing on, the image but I have yet to try to retrieve any of them. I saved the results of the 16+ hour scan EaseUS did as a session file so it doesn't have to repeat the scan. I loaded the session file and it seems to bring it up OK. I am trying to find out what program can find the files I know I had on the card. It had around 110Gb of files on the card.
