[QUOTE=Rocky;355858]I just went to a couple of other sites and did some poking around. First of all, was your original Vista a 32 bit or 64 bit OS? If it was 32 bit (more than likely) did you download the 32 bit ISO of Windows 10? Also, how did you get the license for Windows 10, was it a gift or did you buy the license online? If your license for Windows 10 is legit, try to download a 32 bit ISO and try the installation again. If that doesn't work then report back and one of the experts here should be able to help you.[/QUOTE
It is a 64 bit OS
Sounds good. Make sure you have your license handy for Windows 7 and then take your Windows 7 installation disk and reinstall Windows 7 into your computer.
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR WINDOWS 7 LICENSE HANDY FIRST.
Then after you reinstall Windows 7, if you still want to install Windows 10 then download the installation media for Windows 10 and install it over your Windows 7.
After that do a clean install of Windows 10 over the installation of Windows 10 that you just installed.
MAKE SURE YOUR WINDOWS 10 IS ACTIVATED BEFORE YOU DO A CLEAN INSTALL.
You should be good to go.
