Error when Saving text file to D:

I believe I am administrator but if I try to save a notepad text file, I get

A required privilege is not held by the client

    Can I fix this anyhow?

    Thanks

I managed to find a solution via Google

    1. Press Windows key + R, type in regedit and hit Enter.
    2. Go to path below and change the DWORD to 0.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System, EnableLUA and set to 0.

However, maybe someone can help me with another problem, when i boot up it tells me

    Administrator
The username or password is incorrect. Try again
    OK

I Hit enter and get other stuff on the screen, various users (all me) and a password prompt.
If I wait, or hit enter again it eventually makes it to the desktop.
Can anyone help me figure out why this is happening. There should be no bloody passwords!

If you are logging in with a Microsoft Account , on another computer, tablet, Smart Phone etc, go to https://account.microsoft.com try to Login with your Microsoft Account and your last known Password. If that fails, press the Forgot Password button and answer the security questions. It should Email or text a code to allow you to login and change your password.

Huh? I don't think you understand my question ?
There's no password and I can log in. It's just the login process that's a bit weird and I'd like to fix it
    on boot it says

    Administrator
The username or password is incorrect. Try again
    OK

At that stage no password has even been put in. If I press enter it shows a list of 4 users on RH side, and waits for another password. If you do nothing (or hit enter again) it goes to the desktop.
I'd like it to boot, and go to the desktop straight away without that happening. There's no other users but me although I normally RDP into it. (And again can have this long delay, but not always).

OK, press the Windows key+R and type netplwiz and press enter. Here Decide on which user profile you want to use. Select each User profile you don't want to use and click Remove button. You should only have the one user profile login now, select it, click the Reset Password button and leave the password field blank. Click Apply and OK. Then Uncheck Users much enter a user name and password to use this computer. Apply and OK. Leave the password fields blank again and Apply and OK. Restart the computer, it will automatically load your one user profile you chose.

Thank you, that sounds perfect, But when I get into netplwiz I see but cannot select any user, like the mouse click isn't working.. and most options are greyed out, except ok and cancel. I tried running it from admin command prompt but it was the same.

Later - discovered you have to click Users much enter a user name and password to use this computer first.
But when clicking on Administrator "Remove is greyed out".
This is the one I want to get rid of as it asks for it by default at startup - before I do anything.

Further - attempted to remove "Guest" and get told The User WIN10-PC2\Guest could not be removed.
Its hard to resist not swearing at the darn thing !Certainly designed to be as awkward as possible,
