When you run the AdwCleaner .exe file it creates that folder with the logs. It is OK to remove it.

Thank you Jim.
I started to reinstall it to see where it would go and noticed a box saying click here to remove AdwCleaner and all of it features and when I did every bit of it disappeared. I was lucky and I thank you for your help.
maranna:
You will not find Malwarebytes AdwCleaner in the "Programs And Features" list because it is not an installable/uninstallable app.
It is obtained as an executable(.exe) file and usually placed among the desktop shortcut icons and is run from there.
If and when you decide you no longer need or want it, deleting that executable file will get rid of it.
As Jim already advised you, you can delete the AdwCleaner folder and its contents at any time.
A new one will be created the next time you run the executable file.
I understand. I do not have any shortcuts on my desktop only the recycle bin. I could find the location of its source and perhaps initiate it from there? Or maybe keep a shortcut elsewhere?
In 15 years I have only had a recycle bin on my desktop. When I perform some tasks like downloading and forwarding I find it easier to have a lean work space.

You can make a folder anywhere you want, name it whatever you want to name it, put the adwcleaner.exe file in that folder, right-click the file and choose Create shortcut, and then you can move the shortcut anywhere you want. It doesn't have to be on the desktop.
I like a lean desktop, too.
That is a good tip and a way to keep a clean desktop. We are all so different as I see some pcs loaded with icons on the desktop.
I could not find anything that way but to each his own.
You might, in order to make it easy to find your shortcuts (without having them on the desktop), make a new folder somewhere easy to find, name it Shortcuts, and move all of your shortcuts into it. That would give you one-stop shopping for shortcuts. It's the same idea as having all your shortcuts on the desktop -- all those desktop shortcuts are really in a folder named Desktop in the C:\Users\<user name> folder -- but yours would all be in a folder that isn't named Desktop, and they wouldn't be ON your desktop.
Easy.
I was just working on that idea and it is a good one. Thanks much.
