    Explorer Crashing

    Morning Everyone!

Is there anyone out there that can decipher this problem. At least once a day my explorer crashes but I'm not really doing anything consistently to crash it. Usually "Alt+Tab" is when I notice it to switch apps. Here is the code that I got from Reliability History

Hi, the most common cause is problematic shell extensions - this usually affects right clicking, but can have other consequences.

Try disabling all non-MS shell extensions with Shellexview (free) and see if there's any change. Reversible, no need to log off.

Note that this program does not necessarily show all possible shell extensions, but is a good start.

Quick question... I know you said no need to log off, but if I do disable an extension, in theory it should not appear in the "right click" drop down correct? Or should I reboot the machine. I tried disabling a couple items and they still appear in the drop down

Are you running with a standard or admin account?

Do you see a UAC popup when you run Shellexview?

Im glad you asked that about the admin account cuz I have another question thats related to that. It should be the admin account, however I have a Windows Store app "Your Phone" that I cannot get to run because its stating that the admin has blocked it. But I am the admin?

However... in answer to your question, no I don't get the UAC pop up when I run it

Please enable it. Disabling it causes problems in certain cases.
