I've been able to install "Leaked Version" of W11 on a PC with TPM disabled - I installed as a VM first (clean install) installed Office 2019 and a few other programs including Macrium Free. Then from WITHIN the VM created the Macrium stand alone IsO. Ensure your VM has standard SATA / AHCI driver in its "Virtual hardware" - an easy way to ensure that is to add a RAW physical disk drive (you don't have to write to it - if necessary create it read only if you are afraid to lose data. Now Image the system and restore to a physical machine with the stand alone Macrium image.

Then use the "Fix Windows boot problems" , boot a partition manager to increase size of your "C" disk - probably if coming from a VM you've only used a small Virtual "C" drive then boot.

You'll need then to update loads of drivers -- do it manually by going into the device manager and against hardware that needs drivers updating e.g Video etc select update driver-->point to any recent Windows system you have and select browse computer for updates and choose directory of the latest W10 system system32/DriverStore.

You can mount a Macrium image of a previous Windows 10 and use the Macrium browse image to get data if you don't have a spare Windows disk.

The whole TPM thing may have been some half hearted effort by Ms to prevent this release from being copied once it got out into the Wild. - If even the CIA can't keep stuff quiet at times how in the world would a company like Ms even have a chance. The rediculous antics of its management by issuing "Take down notices" all over Google to references of the iso just "aggrevate publicity" and have about as much effect as trying to block some of those notorious torrent sites.

The sensible management policy would have been not to trumpet huge fanfare about an upcoming event until nearer the time or simply not have released any iso until nearer the time.

The posturing by Ms's management (probably better called Mis-management) leads more credence to W11 I suspect than I thought around 2 weeks ago.

We shall see though. For those that haven't yet tried the current leaked iso there's not a lot of difference, some nice icons etc but we shall see.

Cloning requires using a whole disk !!!. Also this isn't very good if you want to create a physical version (i.e on a Real PC) from a Virtual Machine. Create Image and then restore seems the best way to do this especially if your VM is on an AMD machine and you are restoring to an INTEL laptop.

that solution is fine too if you want Multi-boot -- but I DON'T want multi-boot - also if you are starting from HOME edition it's I believe not possible to enable that HYPER-V feature (could be wrong of course as I don't have HOME edition)

Maybe, maybe not. This leaked build supports secure boot like all others dev ISO's before. It is not the case of 20H2, it is not possible to do a clean install with secure boot enabled.

I noticed that a long time ago and Rufus had a warning about it. Secure boot is always enabled here, even in Ubuntu's. Arch is the only exception.
