.PNG files have blank thumbnails?

    .PNG files have blank thumbnails?


    .PNG files have blank thumbnails?-0swz6hlnui.png

    I tried clearing the icon cache and tried lots of tutorials. And I don't have any system restore points.

    Wild guess, but I've seen this happen before when I've not yet associated my *.png files to a specific program like the one you have associated with the *.jpg

    I had this problem at one time. If my memory serves me correctly, I used Irfanview to open/resave the files and the thumbnails fixed themselves. HTH.

    Same here. Been using it ever since. Maybe the OP should install Irfanview and associate .PNG with it.

    Agreed. Windows Pictures Viewer is quite cumbersome and slow. Try latest Irfanview Irfanview 4.58. I recommend using x86 version even on x64 systems (bettter compability with scanners and plugins).
