File explorer search history and program logs

    Dear all

When I use Search in File Explorer, Windows stores / logs the search history.
    1.
Is there a place in Windows, where I can see timestamp / when I have made a search in file explorer?

    2.
Is there a place in Windows, where I can see when I have opened a program, for example Google Chrome?

    Thank you for replying

    Best regards

    Hi,

    a. file explorer search history is stored here:
File explorer search history and program logs-.jpg

    example - I searched for
    abracadabra

There is no time stamp available there.

    b. Program launch logging- not by default but can be enabled. E.g. see answer here:
Does Windows log programs that have been run/called? - Super User
You will not be able to check what ran.....

Can I see how many times I have searched for something? If I search for "Work" ten times, would it only appear once in the list?

You can experiment- my experiment showed only one occurrence of a given string.
