I was knocked sideways and felt completely adrift when my Windows 7 laptop got the free upgrade to Windows 10 in 2015. Stick with it - after about a month it 'clicked' and I felt as at home as I had been in Windows 7. I have several machines, W11, W10, W7 and (as VMs) W8.1 and XP. I can happily swap between them now without batting an eyelid (well, maybe not W8.1 - never liked that one
).

Hey there!!! I'm Vladimir Prados Rosa!!! I've recently subscribed to the Eleven Forums, but as I still have Windows 10 running as a "recovery/safety" OS on one of my rigs I decided to subscribe to this forum too!!! If I'm not mistaken I had an account here before but couldn't remember the email I used to sign up nor the old user name, so I resubscribed!!!

Hello. Just made my first post, a thank you post in fact, after successfully resolving win10 KB5034441 failure to install error and succeed by following @LesFerch tips. Have used computers since 1980s, remember learning Lotus 1-2-3, combo programming, using 8-inch floppy disk, the 3½-inch high-density floppy diskettes, etc. After a hiatus, bang, win95 was put in front of me. Am more of an everyday user but through trial and error, have managed not only kick myself on the backside, but to also resolve certain issues. As mentioned, have already found help on this forum and hopefully, I will also be of help to someone in a similar hole
