Hello this is my first post. It's been nice to be able to join a forum where people support one another!
Lately I have problem with BSOD and my cpu case fan making noises and not spinning smoothly. So hopefully I can get more explanation on how to tackle those two problems.

    Hi Everyone
My name is Kevin and I'm new here but hardly new to windows. I *was* a Desktop/Server/LAN admin MCP on my way to being an MCSE through the XP Era through AD up to about the time of the introduction of Win-7 after the dismal rollout and failure of Vista. I ended up leaving the field in 2008 but have been around since DOS 4.0 and Windows 3.0. in the early 1990s, so if anything I might only be looked at now as an expert in useless information at this point. But I can still build a lean monster of a machine and am mostly concerned about making old apps work since there are many in use that have stopped development but not been replaced by anything comparable or better either. Generally what I will be asking about is about current "best practices" and HOW the operating systems NOW handle certain issues. Unfortunatey I've never been a programmer or scripting artist but sure know my way around a CMD window. Thanks!!
