    Hello, a short introduction....

I have a desktop with ASUS Z97-PRO (wifi-ac) socket 1150 and Intel i7-4790. Still a great combination. However MS forces me (and many others) to buy a new motherboard/processor. It does have TPM however just version 1. In addition, a few SSDs and two Hitachi 1T drives. Hitachi was by far the best. These drives just don't want to break.Furthermore......I worked for 25 years at GE MARKIII timesharing as a troubleshooter. Spoke and read assembler better than my own language.....That's enough I think.....

Welcome to Ten Forums Robert. MS has done that to a lot of us, but at the moment W11 is nothing special so no biggie.
