Hello, I am Francesco, one of the first owners of a portable personal computer: I had an Osborne 1, just 13 kg of weight, 100 kb of memory, also 100 kb floppy (nothing else). Now I am 81, and I have seen the entire evolution of personal computing from about 1977 on. Actually, I previously used programmable calculators, like HP 45 and so on. An evolution where, to remain up-to-date, you needed to invest at least 50% of your time in reading, studying, updating. Otherwise you wourd inexorably remain behind. So, a day, I had to give-up, and became a sailor. Yes, I still have my sailboat and did a lot with it. But this is another story...
Hello, Francesco.
