Thanks. I'll try it later. have to disable dynamic theme, and restart PC

There is something really weird going on in Lock screen settings page. Switch for getting fun facts and etc on Lockscreen is available for Picture and Slideshow setting, but not for Spotlight

This is because of Dynamic Theme. It sets Lockscreen in Settings to Picture

André. your a better man then i. when you've fixed this let me know. I'm sure you can do it might take some time but my gut instinct is you're work it out

Fabler2 also I'm sure will get this sorted. it must be a registry entry either missing or a value that's incorrect? i would doubt it would be anything else?

I've checked the registry on the Dev version and it's the same as the official Windows.

i don't have that i have this. this is on a new install

Worth trying to edit the registry? If it goes belly up then an image restore is quick enough.
