    Hello Don,

The Local Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc) is not available in the Windows 10 Home edition.

Open Local Group Policy Editor in Windows 10

Does it open if you type gpedit.msc into a PowerShell Prompt and press <Enter>?

Can you open gpedit.msc using ANY of these methods? . . .

I at one time used a 3rd party program to add Group Policy Editor to my Windows 10 Home pc. However when I ran a file scan (sfc /scannow) it would show that it found issue but couldn't fix them all. Uninstalling the program made things right again.

Unfortunately, using a 3rd party option to add gpedit.msc to the Home edition doesn't actually enforce the policies.

There is a freeware program called Policy Plus, which enables some group policy management on Windows 10 Home. You'll have to download all the required administrative templates from the Microsoft website, however.
