When your installing you can choose whether you want it with or without :), I went with it, however having done research apparently the moment you install a anti-virus it defender automatically turns off. I do like the idea of having a backup incase my Kaspersky fails for some reason, wouldn't hurt.

Nope. I will continue using whatever OS I feel like even after they stop supporting. I'm an advanced user so don't need any of their "fixes/updates".
