Power management is missing THOUGH I made a proper key!

I made a key in the proper place in the reg. editor as my screenprint shows, still it`s missing!
I REALLY don't want to do a clean install for this issue, the only annoying thing is that I must push the power button when I want to wake it up. Strange things always happen when doing windows updates, so I shut that off.

I don´t want to use the power button six times a day. It will be destroyed.

Could depend on your device make/model, and not a Windows issue.

Also, check the power management settings for mouse/keyboard in Device Manger

    Peppe,

1 What are you trying to accomplish? Power management is missing from what?

2 "I made a key in the proper place" implies that you have been using a defined procedure [from somewhere]. Which procedure?

Guessing, the problem is waking the PC from sleep. Some device midihooker wishes to use to do that doesn't have a Power Management tab. (Mouse? Keyboard?...).

@midihooker - to view devices capable of and configured to wake your PC you can use
    powercfg
    at a command prompt

Explore all its options using /? after the command and subsets thereof.

Not all devices on a given PC have such capability. Given your comment about Windows Updates, and guessing again (my crystal ball is down for scheduled maintenance alas), have you perhaps found some device has stopped waking your PC - or are you trying to create a Power Management tab for a device that doesn't have one?

If so, I don't think that will succeed.

I don´t want to use the power button six times a day. It will be destroyed.
Really? Should just require a light touch. I assume you don't stop using light switches, your mouse or the keyboard on that basis..?

The thing is that I could wake up the computer a month ago or so and I think this happened after a windows update.

If you're now missing a power management tab on a device that previously had one and was capable of waking your PC, perhaps there was some driver update... check the record in Update History/Device Manager.
