How to compare directories ?

    How to compare directories ?


    Good morning all

    I would like to compare two directories to see what files are in one directory but not in the other.

    Is this possible in Win10 ?

    In case I need third party software I would like to know what is your favorite tool to do this job.

    WinMerge - You will see the difference…

    If you see this:

    It's minor- just bypass it.

    I then see

    It's just an authoring issue.

    I have no problem with that link:

    but feel free to get it from other well-known sites e.g.
    Download WinMerge 2.16.12.0

    Personally, I use Araxis Merge. It's not free, but they give you a free trial. Depending on your situation, you might be able to buy it at a significant discount (I did). But, if you have a one-time task, then the trial will work for you (it's fully functional).
