Windows 10 20H2 on HP Laptop keeps freezing/locking up

Hello, I believe I posted here sometime in the past with a similar issue.
Basically, I have an HP laptop with Windows 10 x64 20H2 (latest updates installed) on it. Ever since I got it (2ish years) I've been having issues with the system locking up - it just freezes on whatever page I'm on and stops responding. I can't move my mouse, I can't turn on Caps Lock (it has a light indicator), keyboard, in general, doesn't respond but the screen is on. Just frozen.

Now, last time I posted this I ran sfc /scannow, it found issues, fixed them and it was fine for a while. It kept happening here and there, nothing too bad - once in a while, every few months or so.
Last week it started up again - at least once every other day, today it happened twice in the span of 15 minutes. I ran sfc - it found issues, repaired them. Ran DISM online tool too, but it found nothing.
It just keeps happening. Sfc no longer finds any issues, I'm starting to think it's hardware related because I've reinstalled my entire OS since - changed SSDs too and it's still occurring. Earlier I left the laptop for a bit while doing something else and came to it making really loud buzzing sounds while frozen o.o

Event Viewer doesn't give me a lot of info - just a typical Unexpected shutdown occurred. I can't figure out what happens to cause it from there. Can attach logs if needed

Here's a video of how it looks when it locks up: cropped.mp4 - Google Drive

    Laptop in question: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers...77?sku=4RP51EA

Please help if you have any ideas as to what could be causing this, I would greatly appreciate it

Edit: to add, this usually happens when I'm doing stuff in Chrome/Discord/doing nothing, it doesn't happen while I game, while I have Photoshop open - basically demanding apps do not cause it

Download and install: HP UEFI Hardware diagnostics version 8.0.0.0:
    https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/.../pc-diags.html

    Plan overnight testing.
Find a camera or smartphone camera to take pictures and post images into the thread.

Power on the computer and repetitively click F2 > overnight run the HP UEFI hardware diagnostics in extensive > loop until error > in the AM if there have been at least 2 loops > click esc > run any component tests as needed > take pictures with a camera or smartphone camera displaying the tests performed with results

Hi, sorry for the late reply! I thought it would take much longer than it did, so been putting it off.
I ran the HP Hardware Diagnostics, I hope I did it right. Ran some component tests (including the battery, which is fine)but wasn't sure which ones to focus on. Attached some photos, as well as the log files

If I did something wrong please let me know

The logs displayed many unexpected shutdowns and restarts.

    There were no BSOD recorded.

Unexpected shutdowns and restarts can occur with manual power offs and spontaneously.

The BIOS is out of date.

Windows version build: 10.0.19043 Build 19043

    BIOS: Version/Date Insyde F.31, 01-Jul-20

    Upgrade the BIOS: F.31 > F.34
    https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers...-1?sku=4RP51EA

    Fixes
    - Provides support for Windows 10 v20h2.

    Upgrade HP Support Assistant (SA): 8.8.34.31 > 9.7.433.0 Rev.A
    https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers...-1?sku=4RP51EA

Run HP SA > post images of results > update drivers as needed

Download and install: HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows version 1.6.9.0
(With the pass using UEFI hardware diagnostics you can use this software as needed while using Windows)

After upgrading the BIOS and drivers (per HP SA) use the computer as usual.
Record any / all manual power offs (date / time)

Yes, it freezes (like in the video) and I have to use the power button to turn it off, because it stays like that and I generally need to use it again

I've been avoiding BIOS update because last time I updated it, the update froze up and wouldn't move for ~8ish hours (had to wait for battery to die). It somehow turned off and managed to install, but was a really syressful process.
It was ocassionally freezing before that update too (same thing as now)

    The BIOS link displayed:

    Fixes
    - Provides support for Windows 10 v20h2.

BIOS, drivers, operating system, hardware, etc. can all be related to freezing.

Make fee backup images then upgrade the BIOS:

Macrium Software | It's our Business to protect your data
Backup and Restore with Macrium Reflect

Okay BIOS is now updated. It went without a hitch this time.
Will keep an eye on it for the next week or so to see if it freezes again. I keep my drivers up to date but did upgrade HP Assistant
