If Windows is corrupt how are you creating the installation media?
If you’re downloading from the official MS site then it will be the 20H2 version.
Once created are you booting from the installation media, deleting any partitions it shows then allowing the media to create the partition it requires & allowing the installation to complete?
If yes then the problem may be the drive you’re installing Windows on.

I know of nothing that would prevent you from doing a clean install of Win 10 from a USB drive or a DVD. (The DVD might have to be dual layer, now, to have enough space.) The installer is capable of deleting all partitions on the drive and re-creating them afresh.
Do you have access to a known clean PC to create installation media (using the Media Creation Tool)?
No i do not have access to another pc although i have a tablet and this may be corrupt too. I have an inkling that that someone with tech experience has got into my router and copies all my passwords. How else would i get same problem on my pc after all partition drives being wiped and media creation tool somehow getting corrup files? It was created before the drives were wiped i suppose. It is difficult for me to understand all this but how on earth did i get old copies of edge on a effectively new pc after all drives completely formatted? if you look at my windows mediacreation it will just be putting on the corrupt version again.

If it’s true that both the tablet and acer Aspire xc-780 pc are corrupt along with the real possibility that someone has gotten into your router and knows all of your passwords, those are huge issues.
You will also have to ensure that your router is safely & securely setup.

This is hell I reinstalled windows last night clicked save nothing and everything was kept. Then woke today I had no credentials to sign in and I had to change my pin to get in to find I could no longer open edge so forced to remove and do a new install from a download link I have.
