    Items show up on desktop but don't show if I open them thru Explorer


    The thread title says it all. I can open my Daily Use folder from my desktop, where it sits, and all my items are in there. But if I open that same folder in Explorer it's empty. Please see screenshots and help if you can.

    P.S. I think I might have just figured out what I'm doing so for now am going to mark this as solved.

    This looks like a Zipped file.
    Right click any folder or file and choose Properties. Under Location, it will tell you where the file is actually located.

I would like to put the taskbar items in a specific order but don't know how to do that.
Folks, I do not show any of the flyouts (the right caret >) on my start menu items like file explorer or Control Panel. I am sure I turned them off somewhere along the way but not sure where. 5826
