    So yeah, this process never was running before, but now it sits in my Task Manager just sitting, but this is weird to me that now all of a sudden it is being run, killing the process, and it will show up again later... restarting the PC and it's starts in about 10 minutes from boot.

    Anyone else now seeing this process in their Task Manager? I'm on latest Windows 10 Pro 20H2, 19042.928.

    Again this just started happening since ~48 hours ago.

    It stands for User Out Of Box Experience, it's supposed to only be something that triggers during new installs but some updates will have it running in Task for no reason after. Just another thing MS is too lazy to fix...got more important things like weather in your taskbar to worry about.

    I got it after the October update i think it was but yeah, it was only 1.2mb or something but it was always there. I got rid of it by deleting two reg keys...i can't remember exactly what they were but open reg editor (tree everything closed if it's not & put your cursor on Computer) now go Edit->Find then put UserOOBEBroker in the box and find next. There should be two CLSID's, take ownership & delete them...I did this months ago, i have no errors & it hasn't come back in taskmanager since.

    Looking thru an old reg backup i found & this was one of them.
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{5f7f3f7b-1177-4d4b-b1db-bc6f671b8f25}
