Fast startup in BIOS has nothing to do with Fast startup - Windows option.

I'll take your word for it. I didn't even know Windows had a "fast startup".

I have no idea. It was enabled by default in my BIOS, so I just left it that way.

On my system, the latest chipset driver added some Ryzen power plans, which may be slightly different... I dunno.

I also have a relatively new motherboard with an X570 chipset.
    So maybe something has changed?

I see, thanks a lot for testing and checking.

So if I understand correctly, if I uncheck Hibernation and Hybrid sleep in the Power settings as well as unchecking Windows Fast startup, it will be safe to follow the tutorial to completely turn off Hibernation and get my 6,37GB back?

    YES.

Also, I just checked in Power Options... I do NOT have a Fast Start Up option any more.

On may SSD setting hybrid shutdown (fast startup) and disabling hibernation results in a slight delay on boot but I can wait 20 or 30 seconds longer for everything to load. It's not an issue for me.

Hybrid shutdown is yet another option. Something in between hibernation and sleep.

Fast start-up is Windows and fast boot is bios. I don't use hibernate on SSDs. It adds a few seconds on boot but shutdown is quicker.

Just type (in admin command prompt):

    powercfg -h off
and al of the above is gone

You might also find that disabling hibernation actually speeds up Windows booting because storage devices will work faster the more free space they have. Based on observing the spinning dots at boot, not the most reliable method of course.
