    Restoring a permenantly deleted file

Hi , been here before and some of you had really helped me a lot so I'm back for another one hoping you all can help me , okay so I had deleted some files permenantly which I thought were harmless and I need them back now, how can I do that , suggest a free program, and I don't want to restore the disk to a previous version because what I did was necessary at the time , I tried using a program called diskinternals uneraser but while it was okay and helped me find some of the files I had deleted they wanted me to pay to restore my files which I can't afford to spend. Windows 10 here by the way

    Hi, try Recuva.

But if the files are on a disk you use (write to in any way) there's a high probabilty of the space released being overwritten. As you know, such programs assess the quality of the file you might recover.

Backups are always so valuable...but sometimes something may be lost before a backup has been done.
File synching software can help here.
