I remember that this used to work on older versions, but I'm now on Version 2004 (OS Build 19041.928) and searching "Recycle Bin" doesn't seem to show the Recycle Bin like it's supposed to. Just me or is this the same with other people?
Was supposed to upload this image alongside it but not used to this system. I just used to search just like this. Also doesn't work with two other computers on 2004
How were you "Uploading this Image" in previous versions of Windows?
If you double click the Recycle Bin it will open a new window and show you the contents of the Recycle Bin. That's the fastest way to "Search" the Recycle Bin
I change the properties to automatically delete what goes in the Recycle Bin, from any of my drives, then I remove it from the desktop.

What do you see if you rt click the Recycle bin? One option should be Open - same thing if you double click it.
Umm.. that's an app...what does it actually open? In your case that may well open the Recycle Bin.. in my case it actually opens something related to a program I have installed. (Different icon too, corresponding with that).
