    Explorer fault?

I have started having problems when deleting images in explorer. They do not vanish off the screen until I click refresh. No idea whats afoot, but it weren't me guv! When I 'delete' it again, I am told it does not exist.

Do you by any chance delete them from Search results?

This behavior is often related to Indexer problems

Check your indexer with Indexer diagnostic, and maybe rebuild its database

Tutorials: Use Indexer Diagnostics App for Windows Search Issues in Windows 10

    Update---
This is going on from Windows 7 time.

Sometimes resetting Folders in Explorer Folder view options helps

This problem has been around for at least twenty years. It can come and go.

There is no permanent solution. I wasted months of my life trying out so-called solutions to no avail.

I now reboot daily and it seems to reduce the frequency of recurrence.

Don't waste your life. Just accept it as another Windows annoyance.

Hi, dont think reboot daily is the answer. I do not leave my pc on at night, when I go to bed, so does the pc. I do reboot when necessary when something seems amiss. I was watching Oak Island on tv earlier and left the pc on. I heard window 10 signature boot up 'tune' about a half hour later, but didnt not tell it to do anything as I was not at the pc. So I do not know what rebooted the pc. My initial reaction is MS is trying to fix what isn't or wasn't broke.

No, it is not the answer. There is no answer.
