Ya, had we known he was using 2 different sets of memory, this could have most likely been fixed a lot quicker.
^^That too^^ ... which again is why it's important to properly list system specs and any special circumstance like using mixed RAM. Especially when troubleshooting hardware issues or issues such as the OP had.

As I've said in the past... not listing system specs (or incomplete specs) just leads to guesswork.

    Peace

    Yes, and Yes.
So of the 4 ram modules, the lower spec' ones will always govern the higher ones?

If you mean the higher spec'd modules will run at the lower spec'd module's setting, yes...

    So, update.

Went about 16 hours without a black screen restart tell about 3 hours ago.

I figured everything was good. Anyway, I plugged in a USB device to charge my phone. The computer went black and restarted. So I unplugged it right away. nothing happened for 3 hours tell about 5 minutes ago.

5 minutes ago for no reason, the screen went black and it restarted again.

Dam that sucks, we thought you had it fixed.

Take out the 3600 MHz set and put the 3200 MHz set in, and start all over.

Remove the set of RAM sticks you have in there now, and try the "other" set of RAM sticks.

Also, keep in mind, it could still be a power supply issue. The Corsair CXM power supplies are NOT their greatest power supplies.

    Try using the old PSU.

Old stuff has been around for about 2 years.
    I think a two-year-old PSU is still usable. Mine is a three-year-old low-end product.

I sure hope so. My PC Power & Cooling PSU is about 10 yrs old.
It's a really good PSU though. Made by PC Power & Cooling long before they got bought out by OCZ.

Back in the good old days.
