@Blake0202
In post #8, Matthew noticed that the period was missing after the letter "A" in your screenshot in post #7.
--- In addition to that, the back slash before Music is also missing.
I believe this is what you want to do next, but to make sure
Please copy and paste Matthew's command in its entirety
CMD /C RD /s /q "D:\Music\Born In The U.S.A."
Hi guys i cut and pasted the command into the windows powershell (Admin) to make sure i did not make a mistake and i got the same result as before windows can not find the file, but it still shows in windows explorer.
What i did was to delete a batch of files then emptied to recycle bin so they were gone but windows still think the two folders are still there even after they have gone to the recycle bin.

Try the following:
CMD /C RD /s /q "D:\Music\Born In The U.S.A.\"
A slash has been added after the folder name.
Can you move the folder into a different location?
Can you create a new folder of the same name in the same "Music" folder?
Hi Guys thank you for all your help and advice i do appreciate you talking the time and effort to try and help me.
I am please to say the problem is now solved i found a trial version of DelinvFile is a utility program that you can use to delete data files that you have not been able to delete using the normal Windows Delete function.
This trial let you remove 3 folders as a trial and as i only had two it worked like a dream, so problem solved
Thanks again
