Just going to write here and mark as solved. I found some more suggestions elsewhere and I had 'NZXT Cam' installed, ever since I uninstalled that a week ago I have not had a single problem. That seemed to be causing the weird crash my computer was having. I can't control certain RGB lights in my tower but at least my system no longer crashes!
