20H2 patch has screwed up my audio and video every 2 seconds catches

Now my pc when I run youtube or any game sounds like Max Hedroom.

I'll take any advice. Already run a memory check, no problem. Even disabled my on board sound card and it did nothing to help.

I'm completely out of ideas and I can't revert back.

There are no drivers to update since 2018 or bios

I ran this and every 2 seconds those two categories max out.

Hi. Yeah I already had that and did run it as you suggested and it does show massive latency but when I disabled my on board audio it still showed the same latency. Is there something else I should have disabled?

And forgive me for asking but where is the tutorial to go beyond 10 days?

Bear in mind there is no easy way to resolve latency issues.. you can use e.g. the somewhat technically remanding Windows Perfmoance Analyser/Recorder (Free from MS) - and then having identiied the driver, you need one of the appropriate version that works- e.g. from your previous build. It's been done, but...

Have you been using disk imaging regularly as is so often recommended here? If so, you can restore a disk image created before you upgraded.. although that would also revert personal data on C: to that previous date.

Beyond that, you can inspect the LatencyMon report, and try eliminating things you don't need when this problem occurs to see if you can identify the driver.. - but that's very crude and uncertain.

1 I suggest that you go to your sound card maker [an integrated sound card or a sound card that was already fitted in the computer when you bought it means that your computer maker is your sound card maker whatever brand names are used].
- Download another copy of the sound card driver.
- Install it even though it's the same version as the one you have now. The installation process might well tell you to uninstall the old one yourself first.

2 If Device manager, Sound … controllers also has an entry with your display card maker's name then repeat all this for your display card driver. Mine, just for example, has an entry Intel display audio as well as the expected one for Realtek audio.

I have to do this sometimes [if my power lead has been half-in, half-out for a while & I run WMP].

There is an audio troubleshooter but it has only ever spend half an hour messing about before telling me to do what I've suggested above.

I did try that as you suggested but it didn't improve but I really apprecaite your input.

I'm probably going to use this as an excuse to upgrade.

It couldn't possibly be the video card could it? an old 1080?
