PC randomly freezes (but just partly?)

Hey there! I'm new here and not much of a tech savvy, so apologies for any mistakes or unclear infos in advance. (Windows Version number: Version 20H2 (Build 19042.867))

About a week ago my laptop started randomly freezing. This only occured maybe 2 or 3 times until today, where it happened thrice within the last 2 hours.
The issue only happened while watching Netflix/Youtube in full screen on Firefox, but I don't know if that was coincidence so far or has anything to do with the issue. At least I can say it never happened while doing college work or playing games.

The confusing part (for me) is that it doesn't really freeze completely. It happens like this: video playing in full screen, video freezes but sound keeps playing, I can't use the built in track pad anymore but USB mouse is working (keyboard as well). I usually open the task manager and exit Firefox, try to close it through the task bar since the task manager tells me that no programs are running. Everything gets pretty slow, programs don't really open or close well and everything is increasingly delayed. Pressing restart only ends with a never ending "restarting" screen (not frozen). I've waited up to half an hour, nothing happens until I manually kill it through the on/off switch.

I've tried fully restarting it (win+R -> shutdown /g /f /0) and updated all my graphic drivers (nvidia geforce gtx 950m).

    Does someone have an idea?
