Application stuck in tray icons of Task Bar

I uninstalled a program called Shift.exe but the try icons in Windows 10 are still in the list. They don't seem to do anything, but I cannot delete them either. (see attached image)

Does anyone know how to get rid of these ghost tray icons?

Just a question, is GIMP possibly involved?
    shift.exe - What is shift.exe?
    shift.exe - What is shift.exe?

    shift.exe - What is shift.exe?

The shift.exe is an executable file on your computer's hard drive. This file contains machine code. If you start the software Gimp on your PC, the commands contained in shift.exe will be executed on your PC. For this purpose, the file is loaded into the main memory (RAM) and runs there as a Gimp process (also called a task).
