No 'New Folder' Option

I have a new win10 installation. Maybe four hours old. It offers no 'new folder' option in windows explorer on a right click.

i googled and did the regedit fix and now i get the option on a right click of the desktop.

But still not on a right click in explorer.

But if i open a folder 'in a new window' in explorer then I can right click and get the option and create a new folder.

version the latest. four hours ago. v2004 it says, build 19041.867

any help for this?

thanks. that was good as far as it went but it didn't go all the way.
there's something more wrong.
i don't get that little arrow head on the C: drive listing in explorer and thus in the left pane i can't open the list of folders on it.

And right clicking, even with this new menu, i don't get an option to make a new folder.

i'll attach a screenshot of what i get on this (broken) machine and what i get on another (normal) machine.

you know I just put this install up a few hours ago and then it was reported that my partitions were not in the 'recommended' order or something.

d'you think that'd be enough to give rise to all this kind of thing and i ought to scrap this install and reformat the drive, start again?

p.s. and if i did that would i have to go around with kyhi or something and a partition manager or will a win10 64 boot usb fix up the disk before installing - like is there that option ( I forget the options since doing it a few hours ago).

Yep, that was it. i redid it all after deleting the partitions and now i've got this install which appears to have no problems.
