Can't do shortcut--Disk full?

If you have tried everything else, and nothing is working and this is tied to the Update, then a System Restore would be the easiest thing to do. Once you finish all your tweaks and settings for your computer, then make an Image file of your system and save it to another drive, like a USB HDD. That way, any issues arise, you can easily restore the previous image and be on your way.

Restoring will revert anything in the registry to as it was the date the restore point was created. Further, System Restore monitors a certain set of file types for changes, thus those will be reverted, as well as updates in the period.

Pattern for using restore points and disk images, as I've posted a good number of times before:
a. Create a daily schedule for the creation of a restore point (tutorial)
b. Note these are unreliable - may suddenly fail to restore for some weeks or months. Greate when they work.
c. Disk imaging reverts ALL data- unlike restore points. Thus plan from the outset to keep personal data OFF C:
d. Do NOT wait until you've installed everything imaginable and configured the heck out of your system. Things can and will go wrong.

Create your first disk image as soon as you reasonably can, and create a backup job to create differential or incremental images at the same time as prompted by the software.

a. Make changes, keep a note.

b. Run your backup job after not too many have been made.

c. Keep repeating (a,b) until sthg goes wrong.

Then restore an image, use your notes to repeat changes hoping to discover what caused the problem.

When ok, resume from (a).

Continue like that until and upgrade (feature update) then start from 'Create your first disk image'
