How can I copy one cd to a blank cd?

Hi! I can't figure out how to copy a cd I copied in the past - to a blank CD. I went to Media player, and ripped it. But I can't find it listed anywhere. It's been some time before I've copied disks, so I might have forgotten some things. I tried to drag the list from the CD to the burn list but it doesn't drag. Copying and pasting doesn't work either. It remains blank in the burn list. When I click on the burn tab, it does nothing, and complains there is nothing in the list. I've tried removing the cd after ripping the music, and then inserting a blank disk and then trying to burn it. But no music list is showing, and so there's no way I know of to get it into the burn list.

I will appreciate any help you can give me in this. Thanks!

Still not able to copy disk to another disk

Hi! I downloaded that program you suggested, but I still am unable to copy from one music CD (I only do this with CDs I've made) for some reason. When I look in the D folder in "My PC" - it shows the CD I tried to copy it to - as having zero GBs. So it failed somehow. I clicked on some of the songs I saw in the new disk, and it shows their icons, but does nothing when I click on them. They are shown to be VLC player icons - I have that player on my computer, in addition to Windows Media player.

    Thanks for your efforts!

Just a note, a commercial audio CD will show only markers to the actual songs, about 1KB in size and usually CDA format. I use Windows Media Player to Rip to .mp3 for use on players like an iPod. For a direct copy I use Roxio Easy CD and DVD Creator, have for several years. I have used File Explorer [and the older Windows Explorer] to do a simple copy. I don't use the RW discs.

Perhaps the CD you made is an unusual format? Just guessing..

I also gave you two other ways akin to what you'd tried...

Ashampoo(R) Burning Studio FREE - Overview

    - that can rip, burn, create iso files, burn iso files...

giving you different ways to do this.
