    Recycle Bin in File Explorer

    Hello,
New issue here, Recycle Bin is sitting on the desktop's lower right corner as a shortcut icon, and that's OK, I set it so .
Not OK, its also in the file explorer under each drive, please see attached screenshot.
How do I remove it from the file explorer view.
    Answers will be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Motim

Don't show hidden protected operating system files. Option in file explorer View.

These things are hidden to help users not mess things up - access not normally needed via file explorer.

    Hello Motim,

The $Recycle.Bin folder you see is a hidden protected OS (system) folder as dalchina posted. It's basically the Recycle Bin cache.

Each drive will have its own $Recycle.Bin folder (cache).

You don't want to delete this folder unless the Recycle Bin was corrupted. Even then, it will automatically be recreated afterwards.

To remove it, you would just need to check Hide protected operating system files again like in step 6 of option 1 below.
