i notice only certain videos don't have thumbnails?

i made sure ot turn on an show thumbnails.

i see the assassin creed trailers have no thumbnail? just a mp4 file logo?

    i downloaded them from youtube.

im assuming not all files support thumbnails?

not an issue since they are the only ones as of now don't have thumbnail an no mater what version of the video. it has no thumbnail.

quake 4 videos originally didn't had thumbnails. but it show son them now. what about assassin creed trailers?

or am i missing an extension?

i do notice the files get blocked when downloading an video?

    Hi there

I suspect the problem is that your browser isn't happy about you downloading an .exe file.
    It's probably terminating the download.
My browser, Vivaldi, always asks me whether I want to keep such a file ir not.
See whether your browser is asking a similar question.

My Firefox didn't have any problem with it. Nor did Edge but the checking for virus took longer than the download.

It seems like you are looking at the download link for the wrong software. It's not hard to navigate to the download.

    BabelSoft / 博语软件

The software works okay if you have not installed any extra codec packs.

Link in screenshot. You've tried to download some other software from that site. (Negatron)

If you cannot figure out download links then you probably won't understand how to configure that software anyway.

    On another note:

For problem videos - try converting to another format then convert back to original format. Then see if a thumbnail shows up.
