    Annoying issue - other keyboard language is appearing

    I used EN - Philippines for awhile and had no issue. I have disabled Windows updates using Sledgehammer. And didn't install any language packs manually! Yet it happened twice already. English - Us appears on taskbar bottom right. It wasn't showing previously. I read tutorial on these forums: how to remove keyboard language, but nothing else than Philippines was for me in that category!

    Last time I solved it by uninstalling philippiness, installing english - us. Then installing phippines back and switching to it, then uninstalling English - us. But this is not a feasible solution... Even keyboard switching hotkeys are both unassigned and last time I checked: I had only 1 keyboard language - English (Philippines)!!!

    I don't want to only hide keyboard language on taskbar, I want to delete English US!!! Strange is if I click Language and then keyboard in Windows Setting, there is only English (Philippines appearing) and nothing else. Yet I have 2 on taskbar and can switch to other language!

    Lol now it disappeared after restart. But I guess it will show again, as it happened 2 times for no reason... I wouldn't care, but I have very specific reason I want to disable it...

    I already did this... Except I can't change speech language to EN - Philippines... And keyboard was set to EN - US as I didn't find Philippines during install, so that is probably causing the bug. Even now I have only EN - Philippines installed both under display and keyboard!

    @empleat
    Can you reproduce your problem in another Windows account?

    Here is tutorial to add local account, create local admin and see if you can get desired result there:
    Add Local Account or Microsoft Account in Windows 10

    Honestly I don't want to even add another account. Windows is bugged, you never know what may happen. I just hope I will find solution eventually to this. Also it doesn't happen that often, I won't spend 10 hours in other account trying to figure this out...

    That's a standard diagnostic approach. For example, if the problem occurs in a new account as well, the underlying problem is more likely to be with Windows rather than a 3rd party tool.

    You could simply clean install of course. Good luck.

    Clean install every time there is small bug? HAHAHAHAH

    Even restoring from backups is annoying...

    It is probably caused by the same thing as in that post... As Installed Windows with Display/Keyboard language EN - US. Because there were no Philippines! But I uninstalled EN - US completely and there are only Philippines left - weird!

    EDIT: also can't figure how to disable language bar. I disabled in Windows Settings from what google found - didn't work...

    EDIT2:
    it was turned on in taskbar settings LOL. But disabling it in Windows settings didn't work.
