    How to get rid of Green check marks?


    What's with the green check marks? Everything in my Pictures folder and subfolders have green check marks in the lower left corner. How do I get rid of them?

    This will be some sort of backup program - or possibly a synchronising program e.g.

    Green Tick or Blue Arrows Icon Overlay Displayed for Files in Windows Explorer - Winhelponline

    Questions like this can be answered using Google e.g. search for
    green box white tick overlay on files

    To get rid of them you'd need to look for an option in that program.

    Normally Google backup and sync showing the files are safe in the cloud

    These look more like Norton 360 according to that article. The Google ones I can find quickly don't look like that- or are you sure that's what they are? (Not used it myself).

This started a couple of days ago. Never had check marks in front of the drives before: 267658 I Just checked my laptop which also has Win Pro, with all the same updates, it doesn't have the green check marks ?
Sometimes, if i try to mark a word or some text in firefox or somewhere else, windows seems to mark the text and the words, that i didn't select with my mouse. It makes it hard to mark the right text sometimes.
