Can't Boot Into default Windows Partition

I have not been able to boot into the Windows 10 default partition for some time. I am running Windows 10 Home. Version 20H2, OS Build 19042.746.
When I attempt to boot normally the windows boot manager comes up and says that windows cannot boot. I have two partitions on my computer and I made the one that I cannot boot into, so I could slowly migrate programs from my old partition to the new one, since I was having many issues with the old partition when Windows Update ran.
When the Windows Boot Manager comes up, the only way I can get into either partition is to choose the F1 option and "choose another operating system", at which time I can only choose the old partition which is not the default partition.
My hard drive is set as the default boot device in the bios.
I have tried to install Windows 10 pro, to no avail, since it has to reboot many times and there is the issue of not being able to boot normally.
I have tried all the other options offered by the Windows Boot manager, such as "repair startup errors, uninstall updates, choose restore points, command prompt commands such as check disk, repair mbr, rebuild bcd, etc.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Did you want to single or dual boot?
Can you boot windows going though the additional steps?
If not then comment for different commands.

    Run:

Tuneup.bat - Click here to go to the BSOD batch repository to download and run this batch file.

DiskParInfo.bat - Click here to go to the BSOD batch repository to download and run this batch file.

Open disk management > by default some columns are compressed > widen each Status and Volume > make sure the contents within the parenthesis are in full view and that none of the characters are cutoff > view disk 0 > widen this row as needed so that all of the characters are in full view > post an image into the thread

Please boot your computer with Windows Setup Media and from Windows Recovery Environment start the Command Prompt.

Please type below commands into Command Prompt and press Enter key.

Following commands will repair BCD Store.

    Code:
    Bootrec /scanos

    Bootrec /RebuildBcd

Thanks Zbook. I intend to work through everything you sent me and get back to you later. I want to have a choice as to which of my two Windows installations to boot into. When I first set the computer up, I had this choice as I expected. I had a bit of difficulty getting things to work, so now when it won't boot I have to select F1 and I'm given a choice of the default boot which is called Windows 5 or Windows 3. Windows 5 will not boot, which is the defaut boot, and the partition that I want to boot into. I have to "choose another operating system" and boot into my old partition, Windows 3.

Thanks freebooter. I have run the bootrec /rebuildbcd command and get the error message that it cannot be found and a string of text where it is at. I will try this again.

I rebooted my computer and ran both these commands. Both commands ran successfully and returned the message:
Total Identified Windows Installation = 0

Ok, no luck saving Disk Management to a file using windows Key, Shift, S in and I use it all the time, but it won't show in a text document. Looks like I finally got it using Windows Snip Tool

Ok, zbook thanks for the tuneup.bat post. I have downloaded it and intend to work through it to solve my issue. Above you can see that I posted my disk management screenshot. Thanks again

if data partitions are required, they should be placed after the Windows RE partition. This allows future updates to Windows RE to grow the Windows RE partition by shrinking the Windows partition.
I don't know if this is the problem but you seem to have 2 RE partitions, which one should Windows use?
Can you boot into RE? (blue screen Recovery Environment)

Btw. you can't have 2 Windows OS'es on same drive I think. (unless I'm wrong ofc, never tried with GPT)

You can have multiple Windows OS'es on the same drive, regardless of whether it is MBR or GPT.

    @Brentg,

We need to start with seeing the output of:

    Code:
    diskpart
    select disk 0
    list part
